Jim Gardner

Jim Gardner is the longest-tenured anchor in Philadelphia television history, having joined 6ABC in 1977. He has anchored the station's 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts since 1981. Gardner has won numerous awards for his work, including 13 Emmy Awards and the Edward R. Murrow Award for Lifetime Achievement in Journalism.

Gardner is known for his calm and authoritative demeanor, as well as his dedication to covering local news. He has covered some of the biggest stories in Philadelphia history, including the MOVE bombing, the MOVE Commission hearings, the 1985 MOVE bombing, and the 2008 financial crisis.

Gardner is a graduate of Temple University. He is married and has two children.

Cecily Tynan

Cecily Tynan is the co-anchor of 6ABC's 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts. She joined the station in 2003 as a reporter and weekend anchor. In 2008, she was named the co-anchor of the station's 5 p.m. newscast. In 2011, she was named the co-anchor of the station's 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts.

Tynan is known for her engaging and informative reporting style. She has won numerous awards for her work, including 10 Emmy Awards and the Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast. Tynan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She is married and has two children.

Brian Taff

Brian Taff is the co-anchor of 6ABC's 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. newscasts. He joined the station in 2003 as a reporter. In 2008, he was named the co-anchor of the station's 5 p.m. newscast. In 2014, he was named the co-anchor of the station's 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. newscasts.

Taff is known for his energetic and passionate reporting style. He has won numerous awards for his work, including 9 Emmy Awards and the Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast. Taff is a graduate of Temple University. He is married and has two children.

Sharrie Williams

Sharrie Williams is the co-anchor of 6ABC's 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. newscasts. She joined the station in 2003 as a reporter. In 2008, she was named the co-anchor of the station's 5 p.m. newscast. In 2014, she was named the co-anchor of the station's 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. newscasts.

Williams is known for her warm and compassionate reporting style. She has won numerous awards for her work, including 8 Emmy Awards and the Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast. Williams is a graduate of Temple University. She is married and has two children.
