Cleveland Cavaliers Take Game 1 in NBA Playoffs
Donovan Mitchell Leads Cavs to Victory
The Cleveland Cavaliers took Game 1 of their NBA playoff series against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night, winning 120-109. Donovan Mitchell led the way for the Cavs with 32 points, while Darius Garland added 24 points and 10 assists. Franz Wagner led the Magic with 27 points, while Paolo Banchero added 22 points and 10 rebounds.
The Cavaliers shot 54.2% from the field and 45.5% from three-point range, while the Magic shot 44.7% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range. The Cavs also outrebounded the Magic 50-36.
The Cavs led by as many as 18 points in the fourth quarter, but the Magic cut the lead to 5 points with just under 3 minutes remaining. However, the Cavs were able to hold on for the victory and take a 1-0 lead in the series.
The two teams will meet again in Game 2 of the series on Thursday night in Cleveland.
